Stupid Grandma and the Casino Kid

Stupid interaction of the week, date 08.30.11

Guest: Can you help me log in.

Me: Okay, here you go.

Guest: Thanks, my kids don't like me to get near computers, here's why (She shows me a gambling website).

Me: I didn't think you could gamble with real money online anymore?

Guest: You can on the ship in the casino.

Me: Yeah, I know that.

Guest: But my grandson likes to play and he can't play in the casino here.

Me: Really? Well how old is he?

Guest: Twenty months. I showed him how to navigate the casino webpage I showed you; he knows how to go in and out of all the different games and navigate the menues. My daughter, his mom is not to happy about it but I told her well at least i'm teaching him something.

Me: Well you have a great night I have to go.

Tonight, 09.02.11, I saw the same lady with her grandson on one of the cafe computers, the kid was whining, repeating in front of the computer to his grandma "I want to go to the casino, I want to go to the casino." Kids grow up so fast....
